I've sent off the Heart of Chaos to a publisher (was a while ago actually) and now I'm kind of stuck with it as it is until the rejection plops in..
Database course is driving me nuts because of the total boredom of it. So, yeah, there's a lot of poserin' when I should be studying. Poser keeps crashing every five minutes (Vista is great

) so that's fun.
Devious Comments
Do the publisher have a policy of responding to all submissions regardless of whether they want it or not? It might be worth chasing them up to see how far it's got.
I've heard bad things about Vista and most of the 3D programmes I use - one of the reasons I haven't converted yet.... I was wondering if there's there a Poser patch / update for Vista, and went looking, but just found lots of threads saying 'mine works in Vista / mine doesn't work in Vista'.
What graphics card are you using, out of interest?

I don't think there's a specific vista patch for poser. Vista basically doesn't seem to play nice with anything that isn't microsoft... I hope the service pack that's coming sometime this month will help. It's just frustrating because it's very random when it works and not! Sometimes I'll load lots of stuff into a scene and all is well, sometimes it crashes as soon as I put a figure in.
Poser also stops working if I put Daz studio on the computer for some reason.
I'm on a laptop and the graphics card is NVidia GeForce (8400 apparently according to the thing) I had another laptop before with an ATI on it and that was even worse, it took forever just to select a part of a poser figure.
Sorry to hear about your own computer troubles! I fear the day my external hard drive croaks, that will be the end of the poserin'!
